Flagler Tavern Website Development
Flagler Tavern is a unique bar & restaurant located on the busy Flagler Avenue in New Smyrna Beach, FL. They were in need of a new website to replace their old outdated and difficult to navigate website.
I was tasked to take over the development of this site after the previous developer left. I developed everything on this site other than the initial theme setup, and some homepage elements.
This site was built on WordPress using a custom made theme for Flagler Tavern. Bootstrap 3 and Font Awesome 4 were utilized as well.
The main goal of their new website was to display business hours, food & drinks menu and basic establishment information that customers would want to access. The secondary goal of the new website was to push venue rentals through their private event services.
I incorporated a lot of unique functionality features into the site such as business hours that show by day, parallax multi-layer images, advanced calendar functionality, a split venue blog and more. Advanced custom fields was also integrated in order to allow them to update certain sections of their website without having to know code. I also highly customized a third-party loyalty program page.
The new Flagler Tavern website launched in June of 2018.
